The Seidenkamp family arrived in Australia c.1896 and settled in the Newcastle district.
- Antonie & Maria Franziska Siedenkamp arrived in Australia 16 October 1877 on the vessel “Fritz Reuter” disembarking at Rockhampton in Queensland. They lived there until moving to Newcastle on 24 July 1881. Antonie died in 1891. When Maria applied for nauturalization on the 16th May 1906 she stated that she had three children, 1 male living at Adamstown and one at Charlestown and a daughter resident in Adamstown.
- Charles Seidenkamp married Hannah Amelia Brokman ( a daughter of Rose Bush) in 1902.
